Just thought maybe I'd drop a little note in.

There are photographers such as myself who charge over $100 for a custom retouched 8x10. I strongly believe in the quality of the images we are creating at this price, but I also understand that there are brides who simply can not afford this. Thankfully, there are tons of great photographers in price ranges to help with everyone's needs.

The question that I always laugh at is when someone asks me what the "average" wedding photographer charges... I laugh simply because there isn't really a set average or norm. I know of photography that can be had for less than $300 for shooting and prints. And I also know photographers who have charged over $100,000 (yes, that's right right number of zeros) for wedding photography.
